PigPig Discord Bot Terms of Service

By using the PigPig Discord Bot (the "Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Application.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

1.1 Agreement to Terms

  • Your use of the Application signifies your agreement to these Terms
  • By inviting or using the Application, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of your Discord server
  • These terms apply to all users, administrators, and members of servers where the Application is active

1.2 Platform Rules

  • You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Any violation of Discord's policies will be considered a breach of these Terms

2. Service Description

The Application provides 16 core functionality modules designed to enhance Discord server experiences:

  • Image Generation and Editing: AI-powered image creation and modification services
  • Visual Question Answering (VQA): Analysis and understanding of uploaded images
  • GIF Tools: Dynamic GIF searching, sharing, and management tools
  • Story and Narrative Management: Interactive storytelling and character development

2.3 Entertainment and Utility

  • Music Streaming: YouTube-based music playback with queue and playlist management
  • Mathematical Calculator: Advanced mathematical computation and problem-solving
  • Internet Search: Integrated web search and research capabilities
  • Restaurant Recommendations ("Eat"): AI-powered dining suggestions with user rating system

2.4 Productivity and Organization

  • Reminder System: Personal and group reminder management with scheduling
  • Schedule Management: Calendar integration and event scheduling with YAML upload support
  • Conversation Summarization: AI-powered conversation analysis and summarization
  • Channel and Server Management: Automated channel configuration, whitelist/blacklist management

2.5 System Maintenance

  • Automated Update System: Self-maintaining update system from GitHub repositories
  • User Data Management: Personalized user profiles and preference learning

3. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Application to engage in any of the following activities:

3.1 Prohibited Uses

  • Malicious Activities: Malicious attacks, spamming, harassment, or interference with Application functionality
  • Illegal Content: Creating, sharing, or processing illegal content or violating any applicable laws
  • Unauthorized Access: Attempting unauthorized access to Application code, databases, or systems
  • Abuse of Services: Overloading systems, bypassing rate limits, or disrupting service for other users

3.2 Content Restrictions

  • Intellectual Property: Do not upload copyrighted content without proper authorization
  • Harmful Content: Do not use the Application to create, share, or process harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Privacy Violations: Do not use the Application to collect or process personal information of others without consent

3.3 API and Third-Party Service Compliance

  • Third-Party Terms: You must comply with the terms of service of all third-party APIs used by the Application
  • Rate Limiting: Respect API rate limits and usage guidelines for Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and YouTube services

4. Intellectual Property and Licensing

  • Code and Design: The Application's source code, design, and all related materials are the intellectual property of starpig1129
  • Trademark: The name "PigPig" and all associated trademarks are owned by the developer
  • Documentation: All documentation, including these Terms, are protected intellectual property

  • Usage Rights: You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with the MIT License
  • Attribution Requirements: Copyright notices and license terms must be retained in all distributions

4.3 User Content Rights

  • Your Content: Content you create through interaction with the Application (messages, uploads, preferences) remains your intellectual property
  • Application License: You grant the Application a broad, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

  • Include your content in the Memory System and User Data management
  • Use aggregated and anonymized data for service improvement
  • Process your content through third-party AI services as described in our Privacy Policy

4.4 AI-Generated Content

  • AI Content Ownership: Content generated by the Application's AI systems (responses, images, summaries) is owned by the Application developer
  • Usage Rights: You may use AI-generated content for personal and non-commercial purposes
  • Attribution: You may be required to provide appropriate attribution for AI-generated content

5. Privacy and Data Handling

5.1 Data Processing

  • Privacy Policy: Your use of the Application is governed by our Privacy Policy
  • Data Sharing: As described in our Privacy Policy, your data may be shared with third-party AI services
  • Consent: By using the Application, you consent to the data processing described in our Privacy Policy

  • Continued Obligations: Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination
